By observing disciplines like self-study (Swadhyaya), spiritual gatherings (Satsang), and righteous conduct (Sadachara), he pursued his education and completed his Acharya degree in Navya Vyakarana (Modern Sanskrit Grammar) from Valmiki Vidyapeeth under Nepal Sanskrit University, Kathmandu, and a Master’s degree (M.A.) from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. For the past 17 years, he has been deeply devoted to the practice, study, and research of astrology and has been serving society through astrological consultations.

At the young age of 11, he began his Gurukul education at Shalgram Gandaki Veda Vidyashram in Myagdi. He later completed his secondary education from the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board, Lucknow, India. He earned his Shastri degree from Bindhyabasini Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Pokhara, followed by a B.Ed. through the one-year Shiksha Shastri program of Nepal Sanskrit University. He further pursued an Acharya degree in Navya Vyakarana from Valmiki Vidyapeeth and completed his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Fine Arts from Tribhuvan University.

Astrologer and Pandit Acharya Mukunda Sharma has gained significant recognition in the field of astrology through long-term practice, research, and professional experience. Additionally, he has attained expertise in various Vedic rituals, Yajnas, Saptaha (weekly) religious programs, Purana recitations, Tantric practices, and other religious ceremonies, offering his services to the wider community.

He has actively conducted various Vedic and Tantric rituals, Saptaha Purana recitations, and provided training, hosted seminars, discussions, and workshops related to astrology and rituals. In recognition of his remarkable contributions to astrology, he has been honored with the prestigious Bindhyabasini Award and several other medals.

Respected for his services, he has guided thousands of Nepalese and foreigners both in Nepal and abroad with appropriate astrological consultations, becoming a pathfinder for many. Affiliated with various organizations, he has played a leading role in the preservation and promotion of astrology.

Previously serving as the Joint Secretary of the Nepal Astrology Council in Myagdi, he currently works as an astrology consultant for the popular Android application Hamro Patro. He also provides comprehensive astrology and ritual-related services from his private office in Gongabu, Kathmandu.
